Bruna Massarelli is an actress, photographer, and audiovisual creator.
My journey began on the stages of São Paulo, plunging headfirst into the dramatic arts since 2014, and I've been hustling and researching ever since. My work as an actress embodies a vibrant blend of artistic flair and technical prowess, reflecting the tapestry of my cultural influences.
Acting takes the spotlight because it has paved the way for countless other roads, confirming my role as a jack-of-all-trades and a multi-artist hell of a woman. Brazilian artists are like creative ninjas, dipping our toes into everything, mastering the art of versatility amidst the chaos of South American precarity. The beauty is that we don't reject this at all; instead, we embrace it as a badge of honor, perceiving it as a manifestation of our boundless freedom, inherently diversive and anthropophagic.
And in therms of versatility, as an actress, I've been on the stage, in featured and short films, in TV Show and once in life as a TV Hostess, I lent my voice to characters, and in the past three years, I've added photography, dramaturgy, directing, coaching actors, belting out tunes, and busting a move in contemporary dance to my ever-expanding repertoire.
Embracing the chaos. Trusting the process. Doubting when necessary.
